  • Kai is a fantastic trainer and a great person. Inspiring and motivating. He pushed me when necessary, but consistently and deliberately. Always made sure I was listening to my body. If I needed to back off, he was all for it. It was important to Kai that you always went with your own instincts in terms of pace and increasing weight and intensity. It’s hard to believe how quickly I progressed but with Kai’s help I’ve truly gotten stronger and smarter about my workouts. He is a student of exercise and a great instructor.   • I have sought out a personal trainer to help with my form and a pain in my shoulder. All while also having goals of strengthening my core and overall strength. It was concerning to go into a contract with Kai. Was the personal setting going to be ok? Would I get bored just lifting? How would this fit into my background in a CrossFit style training? I was completely wrong about any reserves I had! As I worked with Kai, I looked forward to my days in the studio. He pushed me to go further, work harder, and be better. He focused on the mind/body connection, keeping good form, and listening to what my body was saying I could do that day. Additionally, I was able to stay dedicated to my home workouts on days not in the studio. If I had questions about lifts Kai programmed for me that day, I was able to text him and ask questions. Kai gave me very detailed instructions on movements really focusing on the muscle/mind connection. Best of all my shoulder pain is almost gone! Kai is continually seeking out new lifts and movements for programming that are challenging. A final benefit was being able to talk nutrition with Kai. Overall, a great experience and I would highly recommend Kai for a personal trainer."

  • "I cannot recommend Kai highly enough to anyone who is seeking to improve their overall health and well-being. As a 72 year old man, my goals were modest at best; maintain my good health and increase my strength and flexibility. Kai’s initial assessment and subsequent personalized program suited my needs perfectly. In 4 months my strength has increased (initially I could only squeeze out 8 push ups, but now do 26, goal is 50!) and my stamina and flexibility have noticeably improved. As a retired health care professional, I am impressed with Kai’s deep knowledge of anatomy/physiology and nutrition. If you are considering a personalized program, implemented in a clean, private gym (with state of the art equipment) with guidance provided by a calm, caring, motivational yet determined, certified personal trainer, then Kai is your man.   • "Operation Anti Dad Bod in full effect! I’ve always been active and semi-in shape but never really built muscle and strength. So at 41 with 2 small kids running me into the ground, I started to really notice my metabolism slowing down and weakness starting to set in. My wife recommended Kai at the right time and he’s right down the street so I decided to just make a commitment to train and get strong for once in my life. Kai has been great to work with and it feels good to learn how to lift and build strength correctly. It’s all about the 1 on 1 in his private gym. He pushes me more than I ever would push myself. And I hate the normal gym with a million people working out, that’s not for me. 11 weeks in and I’m seeing a significant difference in strength and body composition and I have reached the point where training has become a habit I crave."

  • I hate exercising - nothing could motivate me to get into a gym. Kai - without me knowing - has completely transformed my entire attitude around fitness. He is a master at reading his clients - for those who want to be pushed and work out super hard , he's there. However, for people like me who can barely get themselves in some days - he pushes, but gently. I've been working out with him for 8 months and have lost a couple pant sizes, I look and feel so much better. I had chronic hip pain that is now gone. It's hard for me to imagine my life without him. I'm so grateful that he offers his services - it's completely private and super clean. Thank you Kai !! :)
